Approach

Conceptual Design Stage
Starting by listening and observing, this is the initial vision of your project, beginning with understanding your lifestyle, values, aspirations and the unique context of your site. Our goal is to translate your aspirations into a clear architectural vision. Through explorative sketches, and basic physical and digital modelling, we explore the site analysis and spatial relationships in the general layout. Conceptual ideas and visions of how spaces are to look will start to be generated at this time, with an idea of materiality whilst staying focused on creating functional, aesthetically pleasing environments that prioritise the clients comfort.

Detail Design Stage
This next stage translates the conceptual ideas into the built form, by the use of elevations, part sections, more detailed plans and 3D visuals to start visualising the concept into the built environment. Materials and finishes are explored, to begin the information gathering for the technical stages. By the end of this stage the project is ready for a planning submission if required, or into technical documentation.

Town Planning
If required, we can manage the planning submission process for you, including all necessary documentation for relevant overlays. Leveraging our extensive experience, we handle the application directly or coordinate with our network of specialists to ensure a complete and seamless submission.

Technical Development
We look to refine the overall details of the design, through specification of all parts of the built form. From materials and finishes to fixtures and fittings, this is all taken into account to ensure precision during the construction phase. A detailed structural and environmental analysis is carried out to ensure every technical decision supports the overall integrity and performance of the building. The output from this stage can be used to either go into a tendering or costing process, or be used to submit for a building permit.

Construction & Delivery
If you are looking for reassurance through the build process to completion, then this is another aspect we can help with. Through contract negotiation to contract administration, we can work closely with contractors to ensure the final outcome is a high-quality, liveable space that reflects our design intent, whilst also giving the client more budgetary control during the construction process.
Outside of the above stages, we are able to complete and submit Town Planning Applications, Interior Design Packages and 3D Rendering Packages.
